Do you want to become a remote pilot of an aircraft? Technology has advanced to bring a new era of piloting that can improve the efficiency and safety of almost every industry you could wish to work in.

A drone is a robotic aircraft controlled remotely and drone piloting has become an in-demand skill that can open the door to many rapidly evolving fields. Gain skills for roles such as a Commercial Licensed Drone Pilot, which is integral to performing many important operations requiring an ‘eye in the sky.’ Drones can facilitate delivery of medical and food supplies to remote areas and assist in emergency situations such as bushfires or shark spotting and military support. The agricultural, mining, oil and gas industries use drones to for surveying and wildlife conservation, and drones also have high creative capability for photography for weddings and tourism.

Note: this is a professional qualification and not a recreational qualification; this course provides you with training to legally operate a remotely piloted aircraft. This qualification will also permit you to fly without many of the operating restrictions applied to recreational users.

Build on your Auslan skills

This course builds on the Certificate II in Auslan and will provide you with the skills to sign in everyday social and personal contexts.

You will also gain an understanding of deaf community principles and practices, preparing you for a possible career working with Auslan signers/users.

Gain basic surveying skills and begin an entry level job in the surveying and spatial information services sector or continue with further study in surveying at North Metro.

This course may be studied by employer-based training or by off campus learning provided you have a position in an appropriate work place.

If you have a passion for the Law and the legal system or would like to start a career in the legal industry this course is right for you.

The Certificate III provides you with the basic knowledge and skill to work alongside para-legal professionals and lawyers to assist and support the drafting of legal documents in fields such as criminal law, family law, commercial law or litigation.

Are you ready to unearth a fine career?

This Certificate III in Mining Exploration will help prepare you for entry level jobs in the mining industry such as a pit or underground technician, drilling offsider or geological field assistant.
You'll learn how to collect and analyse geological samples, record information and look after the practical tasks involved in servicing a remote field operation.
You'll also learn basic vehicle maintenance, mining computing, first aid and mining methods.

To improve your employment prospects you will be enrolled in a four wheel drive unit as part of this course so you will need to have a current (manual or automatic) Driver's Licence.
