When you complete the Certificate II in Engineering (Mechanical - Plant Mechanic Pre-Apprenticeship) you will have what employers are looking for in a heavy vehicle or plant mechanic apprentice.

You will have the skills and knowledge to work effectively in the heavy automotive industry working on:

Your qualification prepares you for roles such as:

The successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to become a trades assistant or gain an apprenticeship in one of the following trades within the metals and engineering sector: Plant Mechanic or Mechanical trade. You will need to be employed and registered as an apprentice or trainee before you can commence apprenticeship/traineeship training.

From removing, replacing, realigning, repairing and spray painting vehicle body panels, sections and fittings on all types of vehicles, to surface care of interior and exterior of vehicles. Heavy Automotive Plant
