Are you ready for a lifelong career helping others?

When you complete the Certificate III in Individual Support you'll be on your way to a career helping those that need support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.

You will gain the knowledge and skills to work effectively in the aged care industry or disability sector, caring, enabling people to maintain independence. You will gain an understanding about supporting people with dementia, safety procedures, ethical behaviour, infection control, working with cultural diversity, and workplace health and safety.

You will develop the skills and knowledge required to provide personal, physical and emotional support to people who require assistance with daily living, including the elderly and people with disabilities.

Your qualification prepares you for roles such as:

Successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to become a nursing assistant, home care worker, aged care worker or residential care worker.

Successful completion of this qualification may lead to employment as a: Community care worker, Disability support worker, aged care worker, Nursing assistant, Home care assistant, In-home respite worker.
