Are you geared up for a big career working with the big gear?
When you complete the Certificate II in Engineering (Mechanical - Plant Mechanic Pre-Apprenticeship) you will have what employers are looking for in a heavy vehicle or plant mechanic apprentice.
You will have the skills and knowledge to work effectively in the heavy automotive industry working on:
- bulldozers, dump trucks and haul trucks
- inspecting and servicing transmissions
- fuel injection systems
- hydraulics and batteries
- troubleshooting basic faults and
- workplace safety and health
Your qualification prepares you for roles such as:The successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to become a trades assistant or gain an apprenticeship in one of the following trades within the metals and engineering sector: Plant Mechanic or Mechanical trade. You will need to be employed and registered as an apprentice or trainee before you can commence apprenticeship/traineeship training.

VET Student Loans
VET Student Loans is the new program that replaces the current VET FEE HELP scheme.

International students can only study full-time.
