When you complete the Certificate II in Data and Voice Communications you will be flicking the switch on a career in electronics, as a data cabler or telecommunications technician (with additional training).

You will gain the knowledge and practical skills to install and maintain telecommunication cabling, secure electrotechnological equipment, assemble and dismantle components, use cabling drawings, standards, codes and specifications and workplace health and safety. 

It includes ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority) requirements for open cabler registration.
