As an enrolled nurse you can make a difference in a range of health care settings including hospitals, health clinics, community organisations or residential care. You will train in our simulated hospital ward with state-of-the-art medical equipment.  This Diploma will teach you how to be an Enrolled nurse by providing skills and knowledge in human biology, chemistry, medical terminology, medicines and how to deal with a range of people from different backgrounds. This diploma will provide you with the skills and knowledge to manage the operation of a child care service where you would be responsible for planning, implementing and managing programs in early childhood services (0-5 years), in accordance with licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements. You would also supervise staff and volunteers.

During this course you will learn to provide care and meet the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of infants and young children in various care settings.

You will work closely with children from different backgrounds and cultures and provide care and support for them.

Early Childhood Education and Care is an expanding industry for those with a genuine interest and passion in the care and education of young children up to the age of 5 years. The childcare industry is demanding higher qualifications and training from educators in this field to ensure consistently high standards of education and care for children placed in these services. This can be achieved by completing the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

You'll learn how to interact and foster the development of the children while working within legal requirements and ensuring the children's health and safety are not at risk.

The Certificate IV in Education Support will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to assist the teaching staff in schools and provide care, instruction and supervision in kindergarten, pre-primary, primary and secondary school.

Our Certificate II in Community Services gives you real-life exposure to the diversity of community care and support services in your local community – youth, aged, disability, health and social services. It’s your entry point in learning how the community service and care sector operates and how to support clients with a diverse range of needs. The completion of the Certificate II in Community Services will open up a world of possibilities for students who can apply for further training pathways of their interest, including youth work, education support, early childhood education and care, disability care, aged care, health services and nursing.

When you complete this course, you will be ready for a career in the role of a support worker. You will have the skills and knowledge to complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments.

Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery. Workers may be required to demonstrate leadership and have limited responsibility for the organisation and the quantity and quality of outputs of others within limited parameters.

When you complete the Certificate III in Community Services you'll be on your way to a career as a youth worker, support worker, or family carer.

You will gain the knowledge and skills to communicate and work effectively and appropriately with individuals and groups in a variety of settings, gathering and providing information, advocacy and community development, ethical behaviour and legal responsibilities.

You will also gain an understanding of mental health, alcohol, drug, and domestic violence services.

When you complete this course you will be ready for a career in Shearing Shed Hands or Wool Handler.

You will have the skills and knowledge to handle wool and work in a shearing shed. You will learn skills penning sheep, performing board duties, pressing wool, and preparing sheep for shearing and crutching. You will also learn about first aid, effective communication, responding to emergencies, and safety in the workplace.
